Our environmental policy

In 2012, for the 3rd consecutive year, Ryad Mabrouka has obtained the "Green Key" label for its environmental policy.

What we do to reduce our impact on environment :

-Daily record of water and electricity consumption in order to better follow and improve our energetic performance.
-We provide information on energy and water savings in the rooms and bathrooms.
-We change towels on demand.
-Toilets are equiped with a water saving system.
-Taps and showers are equipped with aerators.
-We have reduced the number of bathtubs in the riad, preferring showers.
-We have equipped the riad with an anti-limestone ISB system in order to increase the life of water heaters.
-We sort recyclable waste (wood, paper, metal, plastic bottles...).
-We compost garden waste.
-We progressivily equip the riad with low energy bulbs.
-We have improved the natural air circulation inside the riad to cool down the riad and reduce the need for air conditioning.
-We strive to increase the environmental awareness of our staff .
-We provide information on local biodiversity(fauna, flora).
-We prefer season food products for our meals.
-We have started storing rain water on the terrace.
-We use water produced by our air conditioning units instead of buying demineralized water for irons.
